Opportunity for a dynamic people orientated QHSE manager to join a global market leading organisation with a Blue-Chip customer base. The company continue to achieve significant growth year on year and are now looking to add a quality, health, safety and environmental professional to their team.

The role will report into the managing director onsite and will be responsible for taking ownership of ensuring compliance to all quality, health, safety and environmental policies and implementing suitable strategies to achieve compliance working closely with the senior management team and delivering training to staff at all levels within the site.

QHSE manager duties will include:

  • Actively driving and implementing a health and safety aware culture across the site
  • Carrying out and/or coordinating audits of the quality, environmental and health and safety systems onsite
  • Advising managers and team leaders on any changes to legal requirements and legislation to ensure that appropriate changes are made
  • Developing and delivering a robust programme for onsite checks to ensure that safe working practices are adhered to
  • Collation of customer feedback and ensure that corrective action is put in place for any non-conformances
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of training programs onsite
  • Liaising with all relevant external bodies such as the HSE, Natural Resources Wales, etc.

To be successful in your application for the QHSE manager role, you will need:

  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001, etc.
  • A recognised Health & Safety qualification (minimum NEBOSH Diploma)
  • Internal/lead auditing experience is desirable
  • Experience of developing and delivering training plans for all levels of staff within a business

In return, the QHSE Manager will receive a salary of £42,000-£47,000 (dependent on experience) + pension (6% company contribution) healthcare, up to 10% bonus, etc.
